Ive been trying to render an iterior scene but it takes forever.I am working on win 10 64-bit, I7 procecor latest model, 16 gb ram and nvidia rtx 2060 6 gb.the scene has sun light and 3 more light sources, no hdri image as background, and most materials are default sketchup except 2 wood textures I prepared.I tried rendering in low and medium quaility + denoiser, tried custom settings and tried iraddience map + light cache and brute force + light cache.
Hi there, I used V-Ray 3.40.02 for Rhino 5 trial and the Fur plugin seems to always render in white.I applied vray fur to a plane with vray green material. Any idea why it behaves so. I used a similar process in Sketchup and it renders fine.
vray 3 for sketchup
Hello laborda,I finally solved it. It seems Vray creates a small representative plane for the surface on which vray fur has been applied. If I had a large area for example grass, this representation is tiny enough to miss it. I additionally applied material to this representation and it finally works! Its explained well in V-Ray 3 for Rhino: V-Ray fur for grass FlyingArchitectureVray 3 Fur1379724 784 KB 2ff7e9595c
